Welcome to Whiplash, Canada’s new and only Fetish Magazine. We are published from Peterborough, Ontario but have contributors from coast to coast. This is a magazine about Canadian fetish for anyone interested in the BDSM lifestyle and fashion in our great country.

From the Editrix:

It saddens me to write this, but Whiplash is no longer being published. With no previous experience in publishing a glossy colour publication, but a strong belief that I can do anything, Whiplash was born out of a vision I had for Canada to have its own Fetish Magazine.

However, my lack of experience was the real reason for the demise of Whiplash and I apologize to the many readers and subscribers who supported the magazine over the years. It never became a financially viable business for me and actually lost money until the very last issue which did turn a small profit. Despite the difficulties and debt, Whiplash opened many doors for me, introduced me to many wonderful people across Canada and taught me a great deal about business. I'm really glad I started the magazine.

In the last few years I have been distributing Sportsheets (you may remember their advertisements in Whiplash over the years) and exhibiting at the sex shows in Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Red Deer. This year I am launching my own sex show in Ottawa and Hamilton called Sexapalooza. I have also purchased a building here in Peterborough and opened an upscale sex shop called Kitty's Erotic Boutique. Life is frantic and I like that.

I always said in interviews that I loved the fetish community because it is cerebral. It is also caring, and I hope forgiving, because I do feel guilt that I couldn't make Whiplash a success.
